background and speech

In 2017, I was honored to give the Commence Address to the graduates of the University of Washington's Department of Human-Centered Design & Engineering. I wanted to use the opportunity to do something fun with the graduates (and their families), turning what is typically a one-way speech into a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure style talk.

Here's the speech announcement.

And here's a video of the speech itself. Note, the recording didn’t include the slides I was presenting.
